NLN Pre-admission RN Exam OR ACT

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSES - NLN ACE-I Exam

Application Deadline:
March 1, 2009

Application Requirements:
The following must be completed/received by the application deadline:

  • Attendance at an ADN conference (listed above)

  • Application for admission to the college

  • High school transcript OR GED

  • Official transcripts of all post-secondary education or training

  • NLN Pre-admission RN Exam OR ACT scores

  • Minimum GPA of 2.0

Points scale

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSES - acceptable score on the NLN ACE-I Exam is also required for the summer "bridge" class.

Application Requirements:

  • Attendance at an PN conference (listed above)

  • Application for admission to the college

  • High school transcript OR GED

  • Official transcripts of all post-secondary education or training

  • Compass scores (minimum):
    Algebra score of 30
    Reading score of 81
    Writing score of 70

    OR

    ACT scores of at least
    Reading 19
    Writing 18
    Math 18
  • Minimum GPA of 2.0
Selection criteria: 

Admission is based upon a selection process according to results of the entrance exam. The applicants are rank-ordered from highest to lowest scores.

Preference is given to those applicants with the highest scores. In case of a tie, the applicant with the highest GPA is granted admission.
