Associate Degree Nursing Program
CPR Requirements

Students admitted to the nursing program must be CPR certified before the first day of class in Nursing 101.
A copy of your card must be on file in the nursing office.

Certification is required in either:

  • American Heart Association-Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers; OR
  • American Red Cross-Basic Life Support for the Professional

CPR courses are taught at the
      WKCTC Thompson Education Center (TEC),
      2415 South 25th Street, Paducah, KY

     Refer to the map for directions to the Thompson Education Center.

Fee is $68 per person

Please make sure the card you receive indicates one of the above mentioned courses. Heartsaver or Community cards are not acceptable.

Certification is for one or two years and must be updated throughout the program. At no time can this certification lapse.
