Associate
Degree Nursing Program CPR Requirements Students admitted to
the nursing program must be CPR certified before the first day of class in Nursing
101. A copy of your card must be on file in the nursing office.
Certification is required in either: - American Heart Association-Basic
Life Support for Healthcare Providers; OR
- American
Red Cross-Basic Life Support for the Professional
West

August 13 at 6pm, August 15 at 9am Commonwealth Industrial
& Occupational Health; 443-3100 Western Baptist Hospital;
575-2723 HealthWorks Medical, LLC 448-9355 BLS classes
are offered on the first Thursday of even numbered months. Classes begin at 4pm
at HealthWorks. Class size is limited. Please call ahead to reserve seat.
Please make sure the card you receive indicates
one of the above mentioned courses. Heartsaver or Community cards are not acceptable.
Certification is for one or two years and must be updated throughout the
program. At no time can this certification lapse. |
